Lavish Maslenitsa celebration in Obninsk on February, 22
Dear friends, we’ve finally ushered frosty and snowy winter out last Sunday, February 22. It happened that very day because it was the finish of the beloved of all Butter Week.
On this last winter day we were treating all our guests with tasty pancakes and hot and flavorsome tea right from the samovar. And those customers who were especially hungry after all the activities from our hosts could try delicious and juicy barbecue cooked on site.
The pour of those who wanted to take part in all beloved party was never-ending. That was a real folk festival with mouth-watering pancakes, barbecue, different activities and all kinds of games for children.
Hosts were attracting the guests of the festivals to different folk plays such as sack racing, eco-bowling, tug-of-war and many others. Kids and adults were dancing in a round and singing songs when ushering winter out. And the most active ones gor presents from the hosts.
Our most little customers were invited into the EcoBazaar where they were entertained by a clown and a fairy involving kids in interesting contests and dances. At the close, each child got its trophy for active participation – tasty present of a souvenir. Many children became butterflies, little tigers, bears and other dolly heroes with the help of face-painting on this day.
