First “City picnic” went off with a bang!
On March, 14 high spring spirits made Obninsk residents go out and have a walk under warm sun rays. And EcoBazaar helped them to spend that time not only interestingly but also tasty. The first collective city picnic was organized for residents and Obninsk citizens were unutterably happy about it!
It was just impossible to take no notice of EcoBazaar on this sunny day! It figures: festal music, a lot of smiling people, free trampolines and mouth-watering flavor of fresh and juicy barbecue were attracting everyone. All that and many other things were at the EcoBazaar “City picnic” on that day.
Absolutely spring weather contributed to such a great atmosphere. And for the mood to be even better, our soapbox hosts were holding games, contests and quizzes which winners got not just valuable but also delicious prizes. Large baskets full of tasty food were much desired trophies for everyone. And it is just because there were different farmers’ products in them that were kindly furnished by the sponsors of this merry event – farmers and EcoBazaar suppliers. Thanks to it many comers could try and value different unusual products which can be found on the markets’ counters.
It was possible to try dishes cooked with products offered at EcoBazaar even without participating in the contests. For example, it you could absolutely for free try just cooked veil leg. It was roasted with spices to an old recipe. For the taste to be special it was served with a sauce from chef. Also, cooks offered fresh beef, pork, chicken and even fish barbecue. Thanks to it many customers could make sure right away that dishes cooked with EcoBazaar products are splendid. For desert we had homemade brioches with various fillings: cheese, potatoes and berries. So, everyone could find something to his liking and wallet.
There was fun no only outdoors – for our little customers and just for those who wanted to value products’ wide assortment, contests with prizes were also held inside EcoBazaar, in the center of the retail floor. It should be noted that kids’ store “Aist” was an attractive place that day: because one could get a toy there even without participation in the quiz. One of the most memorable contests was a dance one. Participants had to make up their own dance to a popular song. There were tons of those who wanted to take part in it, young and old. But the coveted prize got the most dynamic and original dance! This day was the happies for kids: they were jumping on trampolines shaped like fairytale castles, making face-painting to look like bunnies and squirrels and participated in different Russian folk tricks.
One of the surprises for adults were tasting mounts where one could value taste and quality of products absolutely for free.
